Bavarian Academy for
Nature Conservation and Landscape Management

Tasks

A group of young people researched in the laboratory plant. In 1976 the Bavarian Academy for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management (ANL) was established by decision of the Bavarian Parliament, therefore it is a directly subordinate institution of the Bavarian State Ministry for Environment and Health.

Their tasks include:

  • Environmental education by extracurricular events and publications,
  • application-oriented research in nature conservation,
  • Implementation of research results into teaching, and into the conservation and landscape management practices.

The Academy’s office is in Laufen an der Salzach in southeastern Bavaria.
