Auf der ANL-Fachtagung standen zwei Aspekte im Vordergrund: Die aktuellen und zukünftigen Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf Mensch, Natur und Landschaft sowie der aus dem Gleichgewicht geratene Wasserkreislauf. Dieser Artikel berichtet von den wesentlichen Ergebnissen und Lösungsvorschlägen der Tagung hinsichtlich folgender Fragen: Was sind die Folgen des Klimawandels? Welche Folgen entstehen für die Wasserversorgung? Wie stört die aktuelle Struktur der Landschaft den Wasserkreislauf? Warum änderte sich bisher nichts grundlegend? Im abschließenden Teil befindet sich ein umfangreicher Maßnahmenkatalog zu der Frage: Welche Handlungsmöglichkeiten bestehen? Insgesamt zeigte sich auf der Fachtagung deutlich, dass es einen großen Handlungsbedarf gibt, aber auch zahlreiche Handlungsmöglichkeiten. Um diese möglichst zeitnah umzusetzen, bedarf es den Willen dazu, ebenso wie einen Austausch aller Beteiligten auf Augenhöhe, Flexibilität und Offenheit für neue Maßnahmen.

Event Review: Landscape Between Flood and Drought
At the ANL conference, two key aspects were in focus: the current and future impacts of climate change on humans, nature and landscape, as well as the increasingly unbalanced water cycle. This article reports on the main results and solutions of the conference with regard to the following questions: What are the consequences of climate change? What impact does it have on water supply? How does the current structure of the landscape continue to disrupt the water cycle? Why has there been no fundamental change so far? The concluding section provides a catalog of measures addressing the question: What courses of action are available? Overall, the conference clearly showed that there is a great need for action, but also a wide range of possible responses. To implement these as quickly as possible, a will to act is needed, as well as open, equal dialogue, flexibility, and a willingness to embrace new measures.
